2026 Ford Bronco
The 2026 Ford Bronco brings new colors, a Wildtrak Package on the Badlands, the 10-speed automatic now paired with the 2.3L EcoBoost on the Heritage Edition, and a stand-alone Front Stabilizer Bar Disconnect option on the Badlands. Below is the full 2026 lineup — every trim, engine, capability hardware, technology spec, and color, with deep-dive guides linked for each major buyer question.
What's New for the 2026 Ford Bronco
- Wildtrak Package on the Badlands 4-Door ($11,945) — bundles the 2.7L EcoBoost V6, 10-speed automatic, Sasquatch Package (35-inch tires, beadlock-capable wheels, front and rear lockers), HOSS 3.0 with FOX Internal Bypass dampers, and Black Appearance styling.
- Avalanche Gray joins the palette as a new metallic exterior color.
- Orange Fury Metallic Tri-Coat is added later in the model run as a Late Job 2 paint.

- Front Stabilizer Bar Disconnect ($1,305) is now a stand-alone option on the Badlands instead of being bundled only inside the Sasquatch Package.
- 60th Anniversary Package on the Outer Banks ($4,995) — celebrates 60 years of Bronco with Wimbledon White paint, Gravity Gray Sasquatch wheels, and unique two-tone leather.
- Discontinued colors: Azure Gray Tri-Coat, Eruption Green, and Carbonized Gray Metallic are no longer available.

Engines & Transmissions
The 2026 Bronco lineup is offered with three engines. The two volume engines — the 2.3L EcoBoost I-4 and the 2.7L EcoBoost V6 — share the standard lineup; the 3.0L EcoBoost V6 is unique to the Bronco Raptor.
- 2.3L EcoBoost I-4 — 300 horsepower and 325 lb-ft of torque on premium fuel. Available with the 7-speed manual or the 10-speed automatic. The default engine for the Base, Big Bend, and Heritage Edition; available on the Badlands and Outer Banks.
- 2.7L EcoBoost V6 — 330 horsepower and 415 lb-ft of torque on premium fuel, with the 10-speed automatic only. Optional on Outer Banks and Badlands 4-Door, and bundled into the Wildtrak Package on Badlands.
- 3.0L EcoBoost V6 — Bronco Raptor exclusive, paired to the 10-speed automatic only.
The 7-speed manual transmission is one of the few remaining manuals in the off-road segment. It is offered only with the 2.3L EcoBoost and includes a Granny Gear (low-range first), Crank-in-Gear function, and Hill Descent Control. The 10-speed automatic adds Trail Control (low-speed off-road cruise control), Trail Turn Assist (tightens the turning radius for switchbacks), and on Outer Banks and Badlands, Trail One-Pedal Drive.

2026 Ford Bronco Capability
Off-road capability is built around five hardware groups: the 4WD system, G.O.A.T. Modes, the HOSS suspension, locking differentials, and the Sasquatch Package. The Base, Big Bend, and Outer Banks run Part-Time 4x4 with manual transfer-case engagement; the Badlands, Heritage Edition, and Bronco Raptor — and any trim equipped with the Sasquatch Package — run Advanced 4x4 with Automatic On-Demand Engagement (4-Auto). G.O.A.T. (Goes Over Any Type of Terrain) Modes manages throttle, transmission, stability control, and 4WD behavior — five modes are standard (Normal, ECO, Sport, Slippery, Sand), and the Badlands and Bronco Raptor swap Sand for Off-Road and add Rock-Crawl and Baja for seven total.
HOSS (High Output Off-Road Suspension System) comes in four tiers. HOSS 1.0 is the standard suspension on Base, Big Bend, Outer Banks, and Heritage Edition. HOSS 2.0 on the Badlands adds rear position-sensitive Bilstein dampers. HOSS 3.0 with FOX Internal Bypass dampers is optional on Badlands and bundled in the Wildtrak Package. The Bronco Raptor runs its own HOSS 4.0 with FOX Live Valve dampers — a higher tier that is not optional on any other trim.
Towing capacity is straightforward: every non-Raptor 2026 Bronco is rated to tow up to 3,500 pounds when equipped with the dealer-installed OEM hitch receiver. The Bronco Raptor with the Raptor Tow Package is rated for up to 4,500 pounds. Frontal area limits and tongue weight rules apply — see the full Sasquatch Package guide for how 35-inch tires, lockers, and the Wildtrak Package's HOSS 3.0 dampers work in real central-SD use, and the G.O.A.T. Modes guide for which mode to use when.
Technology & Safety
SYNC 4 with the 12-inch center display is standard on every 2026 Bronco — including the Base. That includes wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Cloud-Connected navigation, 911 Assist, Conversational Voice Command Recognition, and Wireless Phone Connection. Connected Navigation and a one-year Ford Connectivity Package come standard with the Mid Package (Big Bend 222A) or higher and on every Outer Banks, Badlands, Heritage, and Raptor.
Ford Co-Pilot360 driver-assistance is standard from the Big Bend up — that bundle includes Blind Spot Information System (BLIS) with Cross-Traffic Alert, Lane-Keeping System with Driver Alert, Pre-Collision Assist with Automatic Emergency Braking, Pedestrian Detection, Auto High-Beam Headlamps, and a Rear View Camera with Backup Assist Grid Lines. The Lux Package — available on Outer Banks, standard on Bronco Raptor — adds the 360-Degree Camera, Adaptive Cruise Control, B&O Sound System with 12 speakers and a subwoofer, Evasive Steering Assist, and front parking sensors.
A note on hands-free driving: BlueCruise is not offered on the 2026 Ford Bronco — that hands-free highway feature lives in the Mustang Mach-E, F-150, and Expedition lineups, not the Bronco. The Bronco's driver-assist suite is Co-Pilot360 with available Adaptive Cruise via the Lux Package.
Pro Power Onboard delivers 400 watts via an outlet on the back of the center console — enough to charge tools, run a small fridge or pump, or top up batteries during a hunt or campsite weekend. It is included with the Mid Package on Big Bend and standard on Outer Banks, Badlands, Heritage, and Bronco Raptor.
Colors & Configurations
The 2026 Bronco palette includes two new colors — Avalanche Gray (added at launch) and Orange Fury Metallic Tri-Coat (added later in the model run as a Late Job 2 paint). Three colors from prior years have been deleted: Azure Gray Tri-Coat, Eruption Green, and Carbonized Gray Metallic.
Available across most trims
Shadow Black · Oxford White · Avalanche Gray (new for 2026) · Velocity Blue Metallic · Marsh Gray · Desert Sand · Ruby Red Metallic Tinted Clearcoat · Orange Fury Metallic Tri-Coat (new — Late Job 2)
Trim-restricted colors
Wimbledon White — only available with the 60th Anniversary Package on the Outer Banks. Shelter Green Metallic — Bronco Raptor only.
Note: Heritage Edition still ships with the Oxford White-painted hardtop, but Oxford White is no longer orderable as a body color on Heritage Edition for 2026 — the body must be one of the other paint options.
